And, yeah, there was some pithy boilerplate clichés being spoken but even in private they were genuinely touched by the crazy support and it meant something to them.It was interesting hanging on the periphery of scrums on game days in both Vancouver and Calgary and listening to Dwane and players talk about being in Canadian cities and what it means to them.They do truly like being around Canadian fans and performing for them, the fans turn out in droves for one-off exhibitions and that's a bit surprising to me and, yes, I can see a day when there are three or four games across the country.But having just come off the road to Vancouver and Calgary, I can say this:No, we're not out in L.A. with the HOTH, because it simply didn't make sense travel- or deadline-wise and with no TV of tonight's epic pretend game, not sure what we'll have here tomorrow.
