Former Iowa star Jarrod Uthoff signs deal with Toronto Raptors

Former Iowa star forward Jarrod Uthoff is heading north of the border.Uthoff signed a two-year partially guaranteed contract with the Toronto Raptors, according to a report from HawkCentral.com's Mark Emmert.After going undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft, Uthoff played for the Sacramento Kings during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas earlier this month.Uthoff was named a second-team All-American in his senior season with the Hawkeyes, averaging 18.9 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.5 blocks.

The Toronto Raptors will make room for one more body in the fall training camp, after signing undrafted forward Jarrod Uthoff to what Yahoo!Sports reported as a partially guaranteed two-year deal.At six-foot-10 and 214 pounds, the 23-year-old Uthoff is a rangy three-point shooter projected as a possible second-round pick in his senior season at Iowa.He put up 18.9 points per game while making 38.2 per cent of his three-pointers with the Hawkeyes last season.
